AI-powered mobile clinics enhance early heart disease detection across the UAE.

ABU DHABI: The Zayed Giving caravans have launched a community volunteer mission in Mohamed bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, aimed at the early detection of heart disease using artificial intelligence (AI), as part of a strategic plan covering all emirates.

Sultan Al Khayal, a member of the Zayed Giving initiative team, said UAE doctors have created a leading model for specialised volunteer work through the operation of mobile clinics and field hospitals.

He noted that the current phase has witnessed a strong turnout for mobile clinic services equipped with AI-powered screening technologies, cardiac ultrasound devices, and mobile laboratories.

Raising Community Awareness

Adel Al Shamri Al Ajami stated that the caravans have played a significant role in raising community awareness about heart disease, its prevention, and treatment under the supervision of specialised volunteer medical teams.

Olivier Jegadin highlighted the global prevalence of heart disease and stressed the caravan’s role in diagnosis, prevention, and medical training.

The initiative also includes a national plan overseen by the UAE Resuscitation Council to train one million people in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response for cardiac arrest cases.
