One-Stop Service Initiative Brings Philippine Government Agencies Together to Assist Overseas Filipino Workers.

Dubai: Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) living in the UAE will once again have the opportunity to access essential Philippine government services without travelling home, as the fourth edition of the Bagong Bayani ng Mundo: OFW Serbisyo Caravan returns to Dubai on November 7.
The one-day event will take place from 8am to 5pm at the Millennium Plaza Downtown Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, bringing several Philippine government agencies together under one roof to assist Filipinos residing in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The initiative aims to make government transactions more convenient and accessible for overseas Filipinos by allowing them to obtain assistance from multiple agencies at a single venue.
The Filipino Social Club (Filsoc) recently shared updates on preparations for the event through its Facebook page.
An inspection of the venue was attended by Filsoc president Ericson Reyes, Migrant Workers Office Dubai (MWO Dubai) labour attaché attorney John Rio Bautista, Philippine Consulate consul Paola Belle Ebora, and representatives of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
“Stay tuned for announcements and participating government agencies that will be delivering simplified services to you,” Filsoc stated in its announcement.

The Migrant Workers Office in Dubai has announced that the fourth edition of the OFW Serbisyo Caravan will feature representatives from several Philippine government departments and institutions.
Participating agencies include:
- Philippine Consulate General in Dubai
- Philippine Trade and Investment Center
- Migrant Workers Office Dubai (MWO Dubai)
- Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)
- Social Security System (SSS)
- Pag-IBIG Fund
- Department of Migrant Workers’ OFW Hospital
- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
- Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
- Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA)
- Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth)

These agencies are expected to provide selected services and assistance to eligible overseas Filipino workers, helping reduce the need to visit multiple offices or travel to the Philippines for certain government transactions.
What Services Will Be Available to Filipino Workers?
The upcoming caravan builds on the success of three previous editions, which were organised in August and November last year and January this year.
Earlier events provided OFWs with access to a variety of documentation, registration and government assistance services.
These included passport renewals, notarisation of documents, civil registration, reporting of marriages and applications for certificates of legal capacity to contract marriage.
Filipino residents were also able to seek assistance with Philippine Statistics Authority records, national identification documents and overseas voter registration.
During the third edition, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) participated in the initiative, offering driver’s licence renewals and record updates for eligible Filipinos residing or working in the UAE.
In addition to documentation services, previous caravans featured financial and business-related programmes, including financial literacy sessions, franchising opportunities and banking assistance.
Health insurance registration and membership information updates were also among the services offered.
The exact services available at the November 7 event will depend on the participating agencies’ announcements and eligibility requirements.
Organisers have conducted a venue inspection as part of preparations to ensure that the upcoming caravan operates efficiently and provides a convenient experience for attendees.
Filipino residents interested in attending are encouraged to follow announcements from MWO Dubai, the Philippine Consulate and Filsoc for further information about service availability, documentation requirements and registration procedures.
How to Register for the OFW Serbisyo Caravan in Dubai
Overseas Filipino workers planning to attend the fourth OFW Serbisyo Caravan in Dubai must complete online pre-registration to secure their place at the event.
The Migrant Workers Office in Dubai (MWO Dubai) has emphasised that entry will be restricted to individuals who have successfully registered in advance. The requirement aims to streamline service delivery and ensure effective crowd management.
“Only registered clients will be allowed entry to the caravan to facilitate the process and manage the crowd. Those who registered for one service may also avail other services onsite,” stated the MWO Dubai.
Filipino residents interested in participating are encouraged to visit the official MWO Dubai website or follow its social media channels to obtain the registration link or scan the designated QR code.
However, attendees should be aware that some participating government agencies have separate registration requirements.
OFWs seeking assistance from agencies other than MWO Dubai should check whether additional online forms must be completed before the event.
To avoid inconvenience, participants are advised to complete all necessary registrations in advance and monitor official announcements for further instructions regarding required documents and available services.
