UAE President Sheikh Mohamed meets Slovak PM Robert Fico to strengthen bilateral relations

UAE and Slovakia reaffirm commitment to deepening ties and expanding long-term partnerships.

Bratislava: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in key areas, including the economy, development, renewable energy and advanced technologies, in support of the shared interests of both nations.

The meeting took place in Bratislava during Sheikh Mohamed’s working visit to the Slovak Republic. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening UAE-Slovakia ties and developing long-term economic and development partnerships that benefit the two countries and their peoples.

Sheikh Mohamed and Prime Minister Fico also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of shared interest, with particular focus on the latest developments in the Middle East.

The two leaders stressed the importance of reinforcing the foundations of regional security and stability and supporting efforts to achieve a lasting peace that serves the interests of the wider region.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; along with several UAE ministers and senior officials, as well as Slovak ministers and government representatives.

At the conclusion of his working visit, Sheikh Mohamed departed Slovakia, with Prime Minister Robert Fico and several senior Slovak officials present at the airport to bid him farewell.
