Sharjah Civil Defence on round-the-clock alert during Eid Al Adha holidays

Emergency, prevention and awareness teams will remain on round-the-clock duty throughout the Eid holiday period.

The Sharjah Civil Defence Authority has stepped up its emergency preparedness measures for Eid Al Adha, with teams operating around the clock across the emirate to safeguard lives and property during the holiday period.

Brigadier Yousef Obaid Yousef Harmoul Al Shamsi, Director-General of the authority, said emergency response, preventive and awareness teams will remain on high alert throughout the Eid holidays to ensure rapid response times and reinforce community safety during one of the busiest festive seasons of the year.

He emphasised that the authority remains committed to maintaining the highest levels of readiness and preparedness as part of its humanitarian and national mission to protect the public and strengthen safety across Sharjah.

Brigadier Al Shamsi also extended Eid Al Adha greetings and best wishes to Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates; the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers; as well as citizens and residents across the UAE.

He also extended Eid greetings to Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi; Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi; Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi; and Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi.

Brigadier Al Shamsi also prayed for the continued security, prosperity and progress of the UAE, its leadership and its people on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
