Heading out this Eid Al Adha? Dubai Metro timings, free parking and everything you need to know

The RTA has announced holiday service schedules for Eid Al Adha, including timings for paid parking, Dubai Metro, public buses and other transport services.

As Dubai prepares for the Eid Al Adha holidays, authorities have announced special transport arrangements aimed at ensuring smoother travel for residents and visitors during the festive period.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released holiday schedules covering Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, the Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport services, as well as Service Provider Centres for vehicle testing.

Public parking

All public parking in Dubai will be free from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Friday, May 29, 2026, with the exception of multi-storey parking facilities.

Dubai Metro

The Dubai Metro Red and Green Lines will operate on the following schedule during the Eid Al Adha holidays:

  • Saturday: 5am to 1am the following day
  • Sunday: 8am to 1am the following day
  • Monday to Saturday: 5am to 1am the following day

The RTA has also advised travellers heading to the airport to use the Dubai Metro for quicker and smoother access through Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 Metro Stations.

Dubai Bus

The RTA announced temporary changes to selected intercity bus services between May 23 and May 31.

  • Bus route E100 will not operate from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station from May 23 to May 31, 2026. Passengers travelling to Abu Dhabi are advised to use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station instead.
  • Route E102 will operate only between Al Jafiliya Station and Zayed International Airport, without stopping at Ibn Battuta Station or Musaffah Shabiya Station.

Passengers are advised to check the S’hail app for updated bus schedules during the Eid holiday period.

Dubai Tram

Dubai Tram services will run according to the following timings:

  • Saturday: 6am to 1am the following day
  • Sunday: 9am to 1am the following day
  • Monday to Saturday: 6am to 1am the following day

Customer Happiness Centres

All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed during the Eid Al Adha holiday. However, the Umm Ramool Customer Happiness Centre, along with Smart Kiosks located in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, Al Kifaf and the RTA Headquarters, will continue operating 24/7.

Service Provider Centres (Vehicle Testing)

The Eid Al Adha holiday for vehicle testing Service Provider Centres will begin on Tuesday, May 26, and continue until Friday, May 29, 2026. Regular working hours will resume on Saturday, May 30, based on approved schedules.
