Date:

From budget-friendly stays and city getaways to waterpark family fun and thrilling F1 driving experiences at Yas Marina Circuit, here are some of the best offers residents can book ahead of the holiday break.

A survey by events platform Platinumlist found that 63 per cent of UAE residents are planning hotel staycations for Eid Al Adha, while 73 per cent intend to spend the long weekend in the country, either through domestic travel or staying within their own city. Affordable pricing was identified as the top decision-making factor by 69 per cent of respondents.

Cosmin Ivan, CEO of Platinumlist, said people are becoming increasingly cautious in their spending, balancing cost with experience, which is driving a trend toward last-minute bookings. He added that 84 per cent of respondents remain uncommitted and open to event and hospitality options.

According to a recent report by the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), staycations continue to be a popular option for residents looking for more affordable alternatives to international travel.
