ADX Expands Into On-Chain Investing With Digital Wallet and Tokenisation Capabilities

ADX and DFNS Team Up to Advance Digital Asset Listings and Trading.

Dubai: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) is developing digital asset wallet and tokenisation capabilities as part of its broader push to strengthen the infrastructure required for on-chain assets and support the introduction of future digital investment products.

ADX Group has entered into a strategic partnership with digital asset custody technology provider DFNS, providing the exchange with access to enterprise-grade wallet infrastructure designed for digital assets.

The collaboration will support the issuance, listing and trading of digital assets while enabling ADX to build integrated wallet and tokenisation capabilities as it expands its digital investment infrastructure.

Building Infrastructure for Tokenised Assets

Founded in 2020, DFNS provides digital wallet infrastructure that enables banks, fintech firms and other businesses to manage and carry out on-chain transactions.

The company’s technology supports digital asset operations across more than 30 blockchain networks and is compatible with over 1,000 tokens, providing the infrastructure needed for a broad range of tokenised asset activities.

ADX said the partnership is part of its broader digital asset strategy, building on earlier initiatives such as the listing of digitally native bonds and its ongoing work involving tokenised equities.

Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of ADX Group, said integrating secure digital asset wallet and tokenisation technology would provide a stronger foundation for expanding the exchange’s range of on-chain products and services. He added that the initiative supports ADX’s ambition to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a globally connected hub for next-generation capital markets, while maintaining a focus on governance, operational resilience and investor confidence.

More On-Chain Products Planned

The new technology will provide ADX with the infrastructure required to introduce and support a wider range of on-chain products and services as the exchange continues to expand its digital asset ecosystem.

The partnership also positions ADX among the region’s early financial market infrastructures to develop integrated digital asset wallet and tokenisation capabilities.
