UAE weather forecast predicts fog, dust, and a chance of rain.

Date:

The NCM forecasts changing weather conditions from Friday through Tuesday.

Dubai: The UAE is expected to have generally fair weather on Friday, with occasional partly cloudy skies, as the country remains under the influence of a weak surface pressure system combined with an extension of an upper-air high-pressure system, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported.

Humidity levels are likely to rise overnight and into Saturday morning across some coastal and inland areas, particularly in the north, increasing the chances of fog or mist formation.

Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally picking up, while sea conditions are forecast to be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf, becoming rough by morning, and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.

Temperatures are expected to range between 29°C and 32°C in coastal and inland areas, while the mountains will experience cooler conditions, with highs between 18°C and 23°C. Winds across most regions may reach speeds of up to 35 km/h at times.

On Saturday, fair to partly cloudy weather is also anticipated, with a slight increase in temperatures and higher humidity overnight in some western areas. Winds will remain light to moderate, and sea conditions are expected to be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Cloud cover is expected to increase on Sunday, especially at night, while fresh winds in western regions may lead to blowing dust.

By Monday, skies are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy, with a chance of light rain overnight and into Tuesday morning over the islands, accompanied by a drop in temperatures.

On Tuesday, rain is also possible across the islands and some western coastal areas, while winds may strengthen over the sea. Conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to become rough at times by night, the National Centre of Meteorology said.
