Traffic congestion is causing delays for commuters traveling between Sharjah and Dubai.

Morning rush-hour traffic is gradually increasing across most main and internal roads in Sharjah and Dubai, according to Google Maps live data.

  • Al Ittihad Road (E11): The primary route connecting the two emirates is heavily congested from Al Nahda in Sharjah up to the Dubai Police General Headquarters.
  • Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road (E311): Traffic is slow from the Muwailah Commercial area toward Muhaisna Second, with minor accidents in several locations adding to delays.
  • Ras Al Khor Road (E44): Significant congestion is reported near Dubai Design District, extending toward Business Bay.

Traffic Update: Deira and Surrounding Areas

In Deira, Corniche Road (D92) is experiencing slow traffic from Hamriya Port to Dubai Hospital. Roads leading to Al Baraha from Al Khaleej Street, along with other internal streets in the area, are also facing delays.

Several internal roads are moving slowly, including Al Quds Street, Al Nahda Street, Beirut Street, Haleb Street, Amman Street, and areas around Al Qusais Industrial Zone.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra travel time during the morning peak.
