Woofstock UAE returns to Dubai for its fourth edition on November 1

Date:

Enjoy games with your pups, create lasting memories and pick up souvenirs at the event.

If you love seeing happy dogs wagging their tails and flashing their biggest smiles, there is plenty to look forward to this weekend. Woofstock is back, bringing a dose of puppy fun just as Dubai’s cooler weather sets in.

Put on your comfortable shoes, pack a portable water bowl and get ready for a day dedicated to man’s best friend.

Now in its fourth year, the Dubai event will bring together dogs, pet owners, rescue groups and pet businesses for a packed programme of activities, workshops and, naturally, plenty of treats.

Woofstock UAE was founded by Yvonne, who also runs Doggie Adventures UAE. This year, she is paying tribute to her late best friend, Boefje, with a festival celebrating all things canine.

Visitors can look forward to an off-leash play and splash area, opportunities to meet rescued dogs and educational workshops designed for both pets and their owners.

Visitors can also take part in creative activities, including making clay paw-print keepsakes and jewellery to take home, as well as learning basic pet first aid. Free training sessions will offer tips on helping dogs stay calm and interact positively with other pets.

Just watch your step, though – there are likely to be plenty of excited pups racing around.

Woofstock is also expanding to Abu Dhabi, with an edition scheduled for January 30 and 31 on Yas Island.

The Dubai event takes place on November 1 at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, from 3pm to 11pm. Tickets are priced at Dh25.
