Humidity is expected to rise to around 85% along coastal areas, with strengthening winds likely carrying sand inland.

Dubai: The UAE is expected to see generally fair weather with a gradual increase in temperatures, while dusty conditions and stronger winds are likely towards the weekend, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
On Wednesday, conditions are forecast to remain fair overall, with cloud cover developing over eastern areas during the afternoon. Winds will be light to moderate, becoming occasionally fresh and reaching speeds of up to 35 km/h.
Temperatures are expected to peak between 40°C and 45°C in inland areas, while coastal regions may see highs of up to 39°C. Humidity levels are likely to reach as high as 85% along coastal areas, especially during the night and early morning hours.
Over the coming days, similar conditions are expected to continue, with fair to partly cloudy skies. Winds will shift from north-westerly to south-easterly directions, remaining light to moderate but strengthening at times, particularly over the sea.
By Friday, a slight and gradual drop in temperatures is forecast, although wind speeds could increase to around 40 km/h, leading to rougher conditions in the Arabian Gulf.
Dusty conditions are expected over the weekend, with blowing sand likely in exposed areas as winds pick up on Saturday and Sunday. Sea conditions are forecast to become moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf, while remaining slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said these conditions are linked to weak surface pressure systems, along with an extension of an upper-air high-pressure system.
