Winds reaching up to 50 km/h are expected to raise dust levels, significantly reducing horizontal visibility.

Dubai: The UAE is expected to see dusty conditions, strong winds, and rough seas in the coming days as a weak surface low-pressure system influences the country, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
The NCM said today’s weather will be generally fair, with light to moderate winds strengthening at times and raising blowing dust during daytime hours. Seas are expected to be rough, especially in the western parts of the Arabian Gulf, while conditions in the Oman Sea will remain relatively calm.
Temperatures are forecast to range between 43°C and 47°C in inland areas, while coastal regions and islands are expected to see 36°C to 41°C. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be relatively lower, ranging from 32°C to 37°C.
The weather bureau said dusty conditions are expected to continue from today through Saturday, with south-westerly to north-westerly winds reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h on Friday, reducing horizontal visibility in some areas.
Temperatures are forecast to gradually ease, particularly along the coast, before rising again on Sunday.
The Arabian Gulf is expected to be moderate to very rough at times over the weekend, while the Oman Sea will remain slight. Humid conditions are also likely overnight and in the early morning in some coastal areas from Saturday, with a chance of mist or fog formation.
