UAE strongly denounces Iran’s missile and drone attacks targeting Kuwait

Date:

The attacks breach Kuwait’s sovereignty and risk escalating regional tensions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting Kuwait.

In a statement, the ministry said the attacks constituted a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and posed a serious threat to the country’s security and stability.

The UAE reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and reiterated its support for all measures taken to protect the country’s security and stability, the ministry added in its statement.

The condemnation came after Kuwait’s armed forces announced earlier on Thursday that the country’s air defence systems had intercepted hostile missiles and drones attempting to breach its airspace.
