UAE fights Covid-19: Emirates announces free flights for Emiratis stranded abroad

The Dubai-based carrier announced special flights from next week.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, President Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, announced free flights for stranded UAE nationals around the world due to coronavirus pandemic.

Sheikh Ahmed took to Twitter on Friday to tweet about the flights – as the Dubai-base carrier announced special flights from next week after flights were suspended to contain the Covid-19 spread:

With the start of limited passenger services from Dubai next week, Emirates will bring UAE nationals home for free on all flights. UAE nationals currently stranded overseas can contact their closest UAE embassy for assistance. Emirates stands with the UAE.
