UAE authorities say their air defence systems have successfully intercepted 341 ballistic missiles and 1,748 drones since the attacks began.

Abu Dhabi: The UAE’s air defence systems intercepted three ballistic missiles and eight unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran on March 21, the Ministry of Defence reported.
Since the beginning of these Iranian attacks, UAE air defences have engaged a total of 341 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,748 UAVs.
These assaults have tragically claimed the lives of two members of the UAE armed forces in the line of duty, as well as six civilians of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, and Palestinian nationalities.

A total of 160 people were injured, with cases ranging from minor to moderate and severe.
The injured include nationals from the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia, Sweden, and Tunisia.
The Ministry of Defence affirmed that it remains fully prepared to respond to any threats and will decisively confront any attempts to undermine the nation’s security, while ensuring the protection of UAE sovereignty, stability, and national interests.
