Air Arabia warns passengers as UAE experiences adverse weather

Air Arabia has issued a travel advisory as adverse weather is expected across the UAE starting today and continuing in the coming days.

The airline warned that operations at Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah airports could be affected, potentially resulting in flight delays or schedule changes.

Travellers are urged to plan for additional journey time and adhere to safety guidelines:

  • Check your flight status before travelling to the airport.
  • Avoid travelling without a confirmed booking.

The airline stressed that passenger safety is its top priority and that it is closely monitoring conditions to minimise disruptions.

Limited flights operating

Flights from Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah are currently operating on a limited schedule and will continue until April 15.

Asian destinations include:

  • Bangladesh: Chittagong, Dhaka
  • India: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kozhikode, Kolkata, Coimbatore, Kochi, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chennai, Nagpur, Thiruvananthapuram
  • Nepal: Kathmandu
  • Pakistan: Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Sialkot, Quetta
  • Sri Lanka: Colombo
  • Thailand: Bangkok
  • Uzbekistan: Tashkent

Middle East destinations include:

  • Egypt: Assiut, Cairo, Alexandria, Cairo-Sphinx
  • Jordan: Amman
  • Saudi Arabia: Dammam, Al Qassim, Jeddah, Riyadh

African destinations include:

  • Ethiopia: Addis Ababa
  • Kenya: Nairobi
  • Uganda: Entebbe

Turkey: Istanbul

Passengers whose flights are cancelled will be notified directly.
