Inland areas will still see temperatures reach 47°C despite the cooler conditions.
Dubai: Temperatures are expected to ease across parts of the UAE on Tuesday as increased cloud cover and strengthening winds bring periods of blowing dust, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Skies will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, particularly over northern areas. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds are expected to freshen at times, reaching speeds of up to 40km/h and causing blowing dust in exposed areas.
Blowing dust may lower visibility in exposed areas as winds sweep dust across roads and open land.
Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 40°C and 42°C along the coast and islands, while inland areas will see highs of 43°C to 47°C. In the mountains, temperatures are forecast to reach 33°C to 38°C.
Humidity levels could rise to 85 per cent in coastal areas and 80 per cent in the mountains, making conditions feel more uncomfortable. Meanwhile, the Arabian Gulf will be slight to moderate, becoming rough at times in western waters, while the Sea of Oman is expected to remain slight.
Fair to partly cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday, with winds strengthening to up to 40km/h, raising blowing dust in exposed areas. Sea conditions will remain slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.
Conditions are forecast to become more settled on Thursday, although winds may still gust up to 35km/h at times. Fair weather will continue on Friday and Saturday, with low clouds expected over eastern areas during the morning and moderate winds persisting across the country.
Temperatures are expected to remain broadly stable throughout the period, with no significant rise forecast as settled conditions continue into the weekend.
