The new visa permits multiple Umrah visits within a year, with each stay lasting up to 90 days.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a new multiple-entry Umrah visa, allowing pilgrims to enter the Kingdom several times over a one-year period with a cumulative stay of up to 90 days.
Valid for 365 days from the date of issuance, the visa enables multiple entries into Saudi Arabia, provided travellers meet the applicable regulatory requirements.
The initiative aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, which seeks to simplify travel procedures, enhance the pilgrim experience and improve service efficiency, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
To perform Umrah during each visit, visa holders must purchase an approved service package through the Nusuk platform from an authorised provider.
The service package must not extend beyond the visa’s remaining validity period. In addition, visitors are required to obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app before travelling to Saudi Arabia.
The visa will be deactivated each time a visitor leaves Saudi Arabia and reactivated for subsequent trips once all required conditions are met.
However, it will remain inactive during the Hajj season, from the first day of Dhu Al Qadah until the 13th of Dhu Al Hijjah, preventing its use during that period.
Key highlights:
- Valid for 365 days from the date of issuance.
- Allows multiple entries into Saudi Arabia.
- Permits a cumulative stay of up to 90 days.
- Requires an approved Nusuk service package for every visit.
- An Umrah permit must be obtained through the Nusuk app before arrival.
- The visa is reactivated after departure once all eligibility requirements are met.
- Cannot be used during the Hajj season.
- Supports Saudi Vision 2030 by enhancing services for pilgrims.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said the new visa offers greater flexibility for planning Umrah trips while strengthening the integration of digital and operational services to deliver a smoother pilgrim experience.
