Six-day partial road closure announced in Sharjahâs Al Hazana area.

Sharjah: A section of a major road near Al Hazana will be partially closed for six days as authorities carry out maintenance and infrastructure improvement works designed to improve traffic flow and road efficiency.
The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority said the closure will affect the dual carriageway alongside Al Hazana, in the direction from Saeed bin Obaid Al Jarwan Square towards Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan Bu Alian Square.
The partial road closure will begin on Sunday, August 23, and remain in place until Friday, August 28, as maintenance and infrastructure improvement works are carried out in the area.
Motorists will be diverted to alternative routes around Al Hazana while the works are under way, with traffic continuing through nearby roads and intersections.
Under the approved traffic plan, the affected stretch runs along the road bordering Al Hazana. Alternative routes will maintain access through the surrounding network, including roads connecting to Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Street.
The authority urged motorists to follow temporary diversions, directional signs and road-safety instructions throughout the six-day closure.
Drivers travelling through the affected area should also allow extra time for their journeys, as diversions may lead to slower traffic on surrounding roads and intersections.
