Vice President honours educators for shaping future leaders and advancing knowledge.

Sheikh Mohammed described teachers as the “makers of generations” and “architects of minds”, acknowledging their significant contribution to society. He said educators deserve recognition for helping create the dignified lives people enjoy today and for nurturing generations of engineers, doctors and leaders. He also praised teachers for instilling values, sharing knowledge and enlightening nations through education.
Reflecting on their lasting influence, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted how teachers play an important role during the early and formative years of a person’s life. Their impact, he noted, goes well beyond lessons taught in classrooms, influencing the way individuals think, make decisions and approach life.
He also expressed gratitude to the educators who teach people from a young age how to think independently, make choices and navigate life, emphasising that the influence of a good teacher can remain with a person for a lifetime.
Addressing educators personally, the Vice President dedicated the letter to teachers and concluded the message by signing it, “Your brother, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.”
The message highlights teachers as an essential part of both personal growth and national development. It recognises their wider contribution to building strong values, expanding knowledge and preparing professionals and future leaders who play an important role in society.
