Samsung will showcase an upgraded version of its Galaxy Z Flip at its August event. The upgraded version is said to come with 5G connectivity. Ahead of the launch, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has made an appearance on China’s TENAA certification website.
The listing reveals the new variant will have the same form factor as the one launched earlier this year. The phone is also seen in grey colour which appears to be a dull tone.
According to the listing, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will come with a 12-megapixel sensor on the inside, which is same as the main model. The phone houses a combination of 12-megapixel and 10-megapixel cameras on the outside. The setup is different from the 12-megapixel and 12-megapixel combination on the main version, reports
Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Flip will house a 6.7-inch full HD AMOLED display when fully opened. The secondary screen will have a resolution of 300 x 112 pixels. There is no word on the size of the display. The phone is listed on TENAA with 3,300mAh battery.
In terms of upgrade, the next foldable phone is said to come with Qualcomm’s upgraded Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. The phone could also come with higher charging capabilities.
Apart from Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung at its August event is also going to showcase the next flagship series, Galaxy Note 20. Other devices such as Galaxy Watch 3 are also likely to be showcased.
