Eligible Travellers Can Change Their Flight Date Once Without Paying a Rebooking Fee.

Dubai: Travellers planning a trip to Dubai may have more flexibility under a new option available to eligible Philippine Airlines (PAL) passengers.
The Philippine flag carrier is allowing qualifying travellers to change their flight date once without paying a rebooking fee, providing greater flexibility for passengers whose work commitments or travel plans may change after booking.
The offer applies to eligible bookings on Philippine Airlines flights from Manila to Dubai, Doha and Riyadh.
When can travellers change their flight?
Passengers who want to use the free date-change option must submit their request at least 15 days before their scheduled departure.
The offer is available until November 15, 2026, and allows eligible passengers to change their flight date once without paying a rebooking fee.
Travellers may, however, still need to pay any difference between the original fare and the price of the new flight. Standard ticket-validity requirements and other applicable terms and conditions will also continue to apply.
PAL’s Manila-Dubai flights are back
The offer follows the resumption of Philippine Airlines’ nonstop service between Manila and Dubai, restoring a direct connection between the Philippines and the UAE.
Flights resumed on October 2 and currently operate four times a week, with services scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Who is eligible?
The complimentary first date change is not available for all Philippine Airlines tickets.
Tickets purchased through PAL’s major promotional fare campaigns and seat sales are excluded from the offer.
Passengers should therefore review the conditions attached to their individual ticket before requesting a change. Even where the rebooking fee is waived, fare differences and other restrictions may still apply.
Why the offer matters
For Filipinos travelling between the Philippines and the UAE, plans can sometimes shift because of changing work schedules, leave approvals or personal commitments.
PAL’s offer provides eligible passengers with additional flexibility to book their travel in advance while retaining the option to move their flight date once if their plans change.
Philippine Airlines said the initiative is part of its efforts to adapt to passengers’ changing travel requirements while maintaining connectivity between the Philippines and destinations around the world.
The carrier said it remains focused on introducing customer-oriented initiatives that provide greater flexibility while continuing to connect travellers with the Philippines and its international network.
