Kuwait intercepts missiles and drones; 2 dead, 67 injured

Armed forces detect 212 missiles and 394 drones since attacks began.

The Kuwait Ministry of Defense reported that since the start of operations targeting Kuwaiti airspace, the armed forces have detected and intercepted 212 ballistic missiles and 394 drones.

Colonel Saud Al Atwan, the ministry’s spokesperson, stated that the attacks involved missiles and armed drones targeting civilian facilities, infrastructure, vital installations, and residential areas.

Casualties and injuries

The attacks have killed two armed forces personnel and a child, while 67 personnel were injured. All the injured have received medical care and are in stable condition, with two cases under ongoing observation.

Armed forces maintain full readiness

Colonel Saud Al Atwan confirmed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces remain at the highest state of readiness, continuously monitoring developments and coordinating with military, security authorities, and other state institutions.

The integrated national system is designed to safeguard the country’s security and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents.
