Khor Fakkan extends paid parking hours in selected zones.

Date:

These zones now enforce parking fees daily, including on public holidays.

Paid parking hours in Khor Fakkan will be extended, as the city’s municipality announced new timings for zones that charge fees daily.

Marked by blue signage, these zones will now collect parking fees from 8 am to 12 am starting February 16, up from the previous 10 pm cutoff.

These zones charge parking fees every day of the week, including public holidays.

In October 2024, Sharjah announced a similar change for its 7-day parking zones, extending paid hours from 10 pm to midnight, which was implemented starting November 2024.

The following parking fees apply at all paid zones in Sharjah, payable via the emirate’s SMS parking service:

  • 1 hour – Dh2
  • 2 hours – Dh5
  • 3 hours – Dh8
  • 5 hours – Dh12

Instead of paying daily parking fees, regular users can opt for prepaid parking subscriptions, offering individuals and businesses a convenient way to use paid parking according to their chosen plans.

  • Personal subscriptions can cover either all areas of Sharjah or two selected zones.
  • Business subscriptions offer a city-wide plan.

Fees vary depending on the type of subscription selected.
