Date:

Multiple accidents and heavy commuter traffic lead to delays across key Dubai routes.

Dubai: Morning traffic is building across key commuter routes, with slow-moving conditions reported on major highways and inner-city roads, according to Google Maps traffic data.

Delays have been reported on Sheikh Zayed Road and the Sheikh Rashid Road intersection, although traffic flow improves beyond the World Trade Centre Roundabout.

Another congested stretch has been reported on Sheikh Zayed Road, particularly between Business Bay and Interchange 3, where multiple accidents have contributed to heavy traffic and significant delays.

On Al Khail Road, motorists are facing slow-moving traffic between Meydan and Al Marabea Interchange, including the exit towards Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.

Meanwhile, heavier congestion is also affecting Umm Suqeim Street, with stop-and-go traffic reported across multiple stretches of the route.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road is experiencing a long stretch of congestion from Sharjah towards Dubai, with isolated accidents adding to delays. Traffic begins to ease after the Mirdif area.

On Emirates Road, conditions are relatively smooth overall, though motorists heading towards Dubai should expect heavier congestion between Athaib and Al Awir.

Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time, keep safe following distances, and consider alternative routes as morning rush-hour traffic builds across major corridors.
