Dubai Police have reminded parents to prioritise children’s safety during Eid celebrations, noting that festive holidays often involve crowded public spaces where children can easily wander off or face unexpected risks if not closely supervised.

As families across Dubai prepare for Eid Al Adha gatherings, outings, and festive activities, authorities are urging parents to place children’s safety at the centre of celebrations.
From busy shopping malls and parks to entertainment venues, Eid holidays typically involve crowded public spaces where children may easily wander off or encounter unexpected risks if left unattended, even briefly.
Dubai Police issued a reminder to parents, stressing that children’s safety should never be overlooked during Eid celebrations.
“A moment of distraction can lead to lasting consequences,” the authority said.
Parents are being encouraged to accompany children at all times while visiting or moving through public places.
“Your presence is their greatest safety,” the awareness message stated, reminding families that active supervision plays a key role in preventing accidents and reducing risks in crowded environments.
Dubai Police also recommended choosing toys and games that are appropriate for a child’s age group to help prevent injuries and choking hazards.
The reminders come as families across United Arab Emirates are expected to visit parks, beaches, entertainment destinations, and cultural events throughout the long Eid holiday weekend.
Authorities emphasised that the aim is not to restrict celebrations, but to ensure families can enjoy a safe, joyful, and well-protected Eid together.
