The transaction makes the Dubai Healthcare City hospital a fully owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments.

Dubai: Dubai Investments has acquired the remaining 80% stake in Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai (CMC Dubai), taking its ownership in the healthcare facility from 20% to full ownership and making the hospital a wholly owned subsidiary of the group.
The acquisition was completed through Dubai Investments Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, and aligns with the group’s strategy of increasing ownership in businesses operating within sectors that offer strong long-term growth opportunities.
Located in Dubai Healthcare City, Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai has established itself as one of the UAE’s leading tertiary care hospitals since opening in 2020. The facility is recognised for its specialised medical services, internationally trained healthcare professionals, advanced technology, and patient-focused approach to care.
Today, the hospital operates more than 100 inpatient beds and delivers specialised care across a wide range of medical disciplines, supported by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
Dubai Investments said the hospital has continued to expand its patient base while broadening its portfolio of specialised services. Serving patients from across the UAE, the GCC, and international markets, CMC Dubai has strengthened its role as an important healthcare provider in the region.
Long-term healthcare investment
Commenting on the acquisition, Khalid Bin Kalban, Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Investments, said the move reflects the group’s confidence in the healthcare sector’s long-term growth prospects.
“The 100% ownership of Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai reflects the Group’s belief in the healthcare sector’s long-term potential and aligns with our strategy of increasing ownership in high-quality businesses where we can generate greater value through active management and sustained investment,” he said.
He added that full ownership would provide Dubai Investments with greater strategic and operational flexibility to support the hospital’s expansion plans, enhance its specialised healthcare offerings, and capitalise on future growth opportunities.
“The Group will continue to invest in capabilities that drive better patient outcomes, operational excellence, and long-term competitiveness,” he added.
CMC Dubai is part of the internationally recognised Clemenceau Medicine network, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services across a broad range of medical specialties. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic technologies, specialised centres of excellence, robotic-assisted surgical capabilities, and modern healthcare infrastructure.
Dubai Investments said the hospital has continued to enhance its medical capabilities while reinforcing its position as a leading destination for high-quality healthcare services in the region.
