The authority urged motorists to follow safety rules while loading their vehicles.

The Federal Transport Authority, FTA, has warned motorists against overloading vehicles and speeding which may lead to accidents.

In a Tweet, FTA said: “Not following the scheduled load and not reducing speed when turning can make you lose control of the vehicle due to overloading. Therefore, #FTA recommends that you abide by the safety rules at all times. Avoid overloading.”

The department also urged motorists to follow safety rules while loading their vehicles.

Violation could lead to fine up to Dh500 along with 4 black points for overloading transport vehicle.
