Al Maktoum International Airport expansion marks a major milestone in Dubai’s future vision.
Cemex UAE has signed a supply agreement with China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) to support the delivery of a major infrastructure package under Phase I of the Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) expansion project.
The agreement highlights Cemex’s continued commitment to supporting the UAE’s largest infrastructure developments and contributing to Dubai’s ambitions to strengthen its position as a global aviation and logistics hub.
The expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport represents a major milestone in Dubai’s long-term vision. Once completed, the airport is expected to become one of the world’s largest aviation hubs, featuring five parallel runways, five terminal buildings, 400 boarding gates and the capacity to serve up to 260 million passengers annually.
Under the agreement, Cemex UAE will supply a range of construction solutions, including cement, cementitious materials, ready-mix concrete and admixture products, to support CHEC’s construction activities.
Using its technical expertise and operational capabilities, Cemex UAE will provide high-performance and innovative building solutions designed to meet the project’s requirements for durability, efficiency and sustainable construction.
