Net profit climbed to Dh9.8 billion, representing a 48 per cent year-on-year increase from the second quarter of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA also rose 7 per cent to Dh9.3 billion, while total assets grew to Dh230 billion, up from Dh214 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of the previous year.

Strategic stakes in some of the world’s biggest tech companies.

Investments in leading global technology companies

Alpha Dhabi’s Dh14.3 billion investment in Alpha Wave Ventures II, a venture capital fund co-managed by Abu Dhabi-based Chimera Capital and New York-based Alpha Wave Global, gave the group exposure to several major private technology companies, including SpaceX, Cerebras, and Anthropic.

While Anthropic remains privately held, the other companies have moved closer to potential public listings and have expanded significantly in scale, influence, and strategic importance since Alpha Dhabi made its investment.

“By actively managing and developing its presence in these future-focused sectors, Alpha Dhabi continues to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position in frontier artificial intelligence, advanced computing, space technology, and next-generation digital infrastructure,” the company said in a statement. “Announced IPO filings for OpenAI and Anthropic could create further investment opportunities should they move forward.”

The group said artificial intelligence, digital banking, hospitality, and advanced infrastructure will remain key areas of focus as it continues to expand.

Diverse portfolio drives growth

Alpha Dhabi Holding Chairman Mohamed Thani Al Rumaithi said the company’s performance reflects its disciplined investment strategy and the continued strength of the UAE economy.

“By continuing to optimise our diversified portfolio, we are successfully capturing value across high-growth sectors while remaining anchored in our core principles of long-term sustainable growth,” he said.

The group’s Managing Director and CEO, Hamad Al Ameri, added that Alpha Dhabi is investing beyond traditional industries by focusing on sectors expected to shape the future economy.

“We are actively pushing the boundaries of traditional sectors by channelling investments into future-ready industries that will define tomorrow’s economy and deliver superior returns for our shareholders,” he said.
