Dubai winter parks to feature Souk Al Freej, celebrating Emirati products and experiences.

Dubai Municipality has opened registration for the fifth season of Souk Al Freej, an annual community initiative that supports entrepreneurs, small business owners and productive families. The upcoming edition will offer 50 free stalls for participants to display and sell their locally made products.

The market will run across three public parks during Dubai’s winter season, starting at Nad Al Sheba Rose Garden from December 11 to 20, 2026.

It will then move to Al Barsha Pond Park from December 25, 2026, to January 3, 2027, before concluding at Al Warqa Park from January 8 to 17, 2027.

Souk Al Freej will be open to visitors daily from 4.30pm to 10pm.

Of the 50 complimentary stalls, 10 will be allocated to supporting activities, including food and beverage kiosks. Entrepreneurs and productive families will have the opportunity to showcase a range of locally made goods, including homemade food, handicrafts, fashion items and sustainable products.

Dubai Municipality said the initiative is part of its efforts to bring public parks to life and strengthen their role as community destinations. The markets combine shopping, entertainment and cultural experiences with the parks’ traditional recreational offerings.

Souk Al Freej also gives Emirati entrepreneurs and productive families a platform to reach wider audiences, grow their businesses, test new products and connect directly with customers.

The fifth season will introduce additional cultural and entertainment attractions, including an “Asian Village Experience” featuring Asian-inspired designs, cuisine and cultural activities.

Other attractions will include a dedicated zone for Gen Z visitors, free-play spaces for children, and creative and interactive workshops catering to different age groups.

Additional attractions will include a zipline and an interactive treasure hunt, encouraging visitors to explore the market and connect with participating entrepreneurs through challenges and competitions.

Mohammed Abdulrahman Ahli, Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, said Souk Al Freej continues to evolve as a community platform and an all-in-one destination offering more than conventional shopping experiences.

He said the initiative gives entrepreneurs, small businesses and productive families dedicated spaces to display their products, engage directly with visitors and reach a wider customer base.

Ahli added that the municipality continues to enhance the market with new programmes and activities each season, catering to families, children and young people. The events bring together shopping, entertainment and cultural experiences while adding to the vibrancy of public spaces and improving quality of life in Dubai.

Dubai Municipality has encouraged local entrepreneurs, small business owners and productive families to register for the fifth season and use the platform to showcase their products to a wider audience.
