UAE Weather Alert: Rain and Dusty Conditions Expected in Several Areas as Convective Clouds Bring Unstable Weather.

Dubai: Several parts of the UAE could experience rainfall on Tuesday, accompanied by gusty winds, dusty conditions and temperatures climbing as high as 40°C, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
In its latest forecast, the NCM predicted generally clear to partly cloudy weather, with rain-bearing convective clouds expected to form over northern, eastern and southern regions of the country.
Winds are forecast to remain light to moderate for much of the day but could strengthen considerably during cloud activity, leading to blowing dust and reduced visibility in exposed areas.
Wind speeds are expected to range between 10 and 25 km/h, with gusts potentially reaching 45 km/h in inland locations and 40 km/h across mountainous areas.
Temperatures will vary across the Emirates, with inland regions recording highs between 35°C and 40°C. Coastal areas and islands are expected to experience temperatures ranging from 33°C to 37°C, while mountainous regions will remain relatively cooler at 26°C to 32°C.
Humidity levels are likely to rise during the night and early Wednesday morning, particularly in certain coastal and inland locations, increasing the possibility of fog or mist formation.
Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to be slight to occasionally moderate, while the Oman Sea is forecast to remain relatively calm.
Rainy conditions could continue until Saturday
According to the NCM, the period of unsettled weather may extend through Saturday, with additional rainfall possible across different regions of the UAE.
Wednesday: Convective cloud formations are expected over northern and eastern parts of the country, potentially producing showers. Winds could intensify to 50 km/h, creating dusty conditions in some locations.
Thursday: Further rainfall is possible across eastern and southern areas, while wind speeds may reach 45 km/h, bringing occasional blowing dust.
The changing weather conditions could bring intermittent rain and gusty winds to several parts of the country over the coming days.
Friday: Rain-producing clouds are likely to develop primarily over the UAE’s eastern regions, bringing the possibility of scattered showers.
Saturday: Unsettled conditions may continue, with further rainfall expected in parts of the eastern and northern Emirates.
Humidity levels are forecast to remain elevated during the night and early morning hours throughout much of the period. This could lead to fog or mist formation in certain coastal and inland locations, particularly across western areas of the country.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the changing weather pattern is being influenced by an extension of a surface low-pressure system, combined with a weak low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere. These atmospheric conditions are contributing to cloud development and the possibility of rainfall across different parts of the UAE.
