- Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Street: The permitted speed will decrease from 80 km/h to 70 km/h between 2nd December Street and Khalid bin Al Waleed Street.
Roads where speed limits will increase:
- Al Asayel Street: The speed limit will rise from 60 km/h to 80 km/h between Oud Maitha Street and Al Meydan Street.
- Al Mustaqbal Street: Motorists will be allowed to travel at 70 km/h instead of 60 km/h between Sheikh Rashid Street and Al Meydan Street.

Drivers are advised to pay attention to updated road signs and follow the revised speed limits to avoid traffic violations.

UAE to enforce ban on veterinary antibiotic
Starting November 1, the UAE will implement a nationwide prohibition on the veterinary use of ciprofloxacin, an antibiotic used in animal healthcare.
The ban applies to veterinary pharmaceutical products and raw materials containing ciprofloxacin. The measure forms part of the country’s wider strategy to address antimicrobial resistance and encourage the responsible use of antibiotics.
Veterinary clinics, animal healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical suppliers and businesses involved in distributing veterinary medicines will need to comply with the new restrictions.

Dubai winter camping season opens with expanded facilities
Outdoor enthusiasts in Dubai can look forward to the return of the winter camping season, with Dubai Municipality opening registrations for the 2026–2027 season at Al Ruwayyah.
The camping season will officially begin on November 1, 2026, and continue until April 30, 2027, giving residents several months to enjoy outdoor experiences during the cooler weather.
This season brings a major expansion in camping facilities, with capacity increasing by approximately 120% to accommodate 600 camps.
New additions include dedicated caravan plots and daily rental camping options, offering visitors more flexibility in planning their outdoor stays.
UAE nationals can complete their registrations and book designated camping plots online through Dubai Municipality.

Two new Etihad Rail stations to open in Abu Dhabi
Travelling to Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region is set to become more convenient, with Etihad Rail planning to launch two new passenger stations in Zayed City and Liwa on November 30, 2026.
The opening dates have been brought forward to align with the region’s upcoming festival season, offering residents and tourists additional transport options during a busy period.
The new stations will further expand the UAE’s passenger railway network, strengthening connections to Abu Dhabi’s western region and improving accessibility for communities and visitors.

UAE Flag Day to be celebrated on November 3
The UAE will celebrate Flag Day on Tuesday, November 3, with flag-hoisting ceremonies and patriotic activities planned across the country.
Government departments, educational institutions, private companies and local communities are expected to participate in the annual occasion, which highlights national unity, loyalty and pride in the Emirates.
Although Flag Day holds significant national importance, it is not an official public holiday in the UAE. Schools, government offices and businesses are therefore expected to continue operating according to their regular schedules.
