University says milestone reflects growing confidence in its education and opportunities.

Ajman: Student enrolment at Ajman University has crossed the 10,000 mark for the first time in its history, marking a major milestone for an institution that was established as the first private university in the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The university said the record enrolment reflects continued confidence among students and their families in the quality of higher education it provides, as well as the academic and professional opportunities available in the UAE.

As its student community continues to expand, Ajman University said it remains focused on maintaining high academic standards, strengthening student support services and further improving the overall learning experience.

Founded in 1988, Ajman University has evolved from a pioneering private institution into a non-profit university with a growing international presence, attracting students and faculty members from both the UAE and overseas.

The university said its development has been supported by continued investment in teaching quality, scientific research, emerging academic disciplines and international partnerships.

It has also worked to broaden opportunities available to students while helping graduates develop the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for professional careers.
