Beijing investment bank opens DIFC office to expand services for Middle East investors and clients.

Dubai: China Securities has opened a regional office at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), providing the Beijing-based investment bank with a hub to serve clients and investors throughout the Middle East.
The publicly listed securities company has secured a licence from the DIFC Authority and received authorisation from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).
Through its new Dubai office, China Securities will cater to clients, investors and financial institutions across the Middle East, while helping deepen connections between Chinese, UAE and global capital markets.
Dubai office supports regional growth
China Securities provides a range of financial services, including equity and debt capital markets, investment banking, asset management and institutional services.
The new DIFC presence provides the company with a regional hub to advance its international expansion strategy and strengthen its engagement with investors throughout the Middle East.
The opening follows continued cooperation between DIFC and China Securities, with the financial centre working closely with the investment bank to explore opportunities in Dubai and across the broader regional market.
Chinese financial institutions expand DIFC presence
China Securities is the latest Chinese investment bank to establish operations in DIFC, joining several major financial institutions already based in the centre, including Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, China Construction Bank, China International Capital Corporation, China Merchants Bank International and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
Together, China’s five largest banks represent more than 30% of the total assets held within DIFC’s Banking and Capital Markets sector.
