Humid nights and mornings forecast as low clouds develop along the East coast.
Dubai: Temperatures across the UAE are expected to climb as high as 46°C on Thursday, while increased humidity could lead to mist forming in some coastal areas overnight and into Friday morning, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Conditions are forecast to remain generally fair, becoming partly cloudy over eastern areas, with light to moderate winds expected nationwide. Inland regions will experience the highest temperatures, with maximums ranging from 41°C to 46°C. Coastal areas and islands are forecast to reach between 38°C and 43°C, while mountainous regions will see cooler temperatures of around 30°C to 35°C.
Humidity levels are expected to remain high, potentially reaching 95 per cent across coastal areas and islands, while inland regions could see levels of up to 90 per cent.
The NCM expects generally fair to partly cloudy weather to continue from Friday through Monday, with low clouds likely to develop over the East coast.
Fog or mist may form across some coastal and inland areas on Friday night and into Saturday morning. Similar conditions are also possible from Sunday night into Monday morning, as well as Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Winds are expected to remain light to moderate at speeds of 10 to 20 kph, occasionally reaching 30 kph, while sea conditions are forecast to stay slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
