Heavy Traffic on E11, E44 and Major Interchanges Causes Delays Across Dubai and Sharjah.
Dubai: Motorists across Dubai and Sharjah are experiencing delays on several major roads this morning, with live traffic data showing congestion building along key routes connecting the two emirates.
Around Dubai Marina, Al Barsha and Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), traffic is largely flowing smoothly along E11, D61 and D72. However, a congested stretch has been reported on D61 near the JVC roundabout and Circle Mall, while another slowdown is affecting E311 near the D59/D591 junction close to Discovery Gardens.
Across Ras Al Khor, Nad Al Sheba and Dubai Silicon Oasis, heavy traffic is reported along E44 near its junction with D71/D69, close to Business Bay and Dubai Design District. Further congestion is visible at the D67 interchange and around the E66/D77 junction near Dubai Silicon Oasis.
A larger congested section has also been reported on E44 near the Dubai Safari Park roundabout in Warsan, where live traffic data indicates a temporary closure.
In Downtown Dubai and Business Bay, traffic remains heavy on E44 around the Business Bay and Dubai Design District merge point. Further delays are reported near the D67 interchange by Nad Al Sheba, while moderate congestion is affecting the E311/D77 junction near International City Phase 2.
In Sharjah, Al Ittihad Road (E11) is experiencing severe congestion from the Al Mamzar Beach Park area through Al Khan and into central Sharjah. Heavy traffic is also affecting the S112/S116 corridor through Industrial Area 6 and Muhaisnah towards University City, with several restrictions or incident markers reported along the route.
Near Sharjah International Airport, congestion is also reported around the E88 interchange. Further south, roads including D91, D93 and D95 towards Al Rashidiya are experiencing heavy traffic.
Meanwhile, traffic is flowing smoothly across much of Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Motor City and Dubai Sports City, as well as along Emirates Road (E611) near Dubai Silicon Oasis and International City.
