E311, E11 and key roads across Sharjah are experiencing significant congestion during the morning rush hour.

Dubai: Motorists across Dubai and Sharjah faced a slow start to the working week, as live traffic maps showed heavy congestion on several major routes during Tuesday morning’s commute.
Heavy delays through Dubai South
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) through Dubai South saw significant delays, with traffic building up near the Dubai South Sales Centre and extending towards the D53 interchange. Congestion also stretched past Jabal Ali Industrial Third and National Industries Park, causing knock-on delays in the Dubai South Logistics District and Dubai South Commercial District.
A shorter stretch of slow-moving traffic was also reported further north on the E311 near Jumeirah Village Triangle, just before the Al Khail Road interchange. Meanwhile, roads through Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai Sports City and Dubai Production City remained relatively clear.
Sharjah commute slows on multiple fronts
The Dubai–Sharjah corridor saw some of the heaviest congestion of the morning. Al Ittihad Road (E11) was slow-moving from Al Mamzar and Al Khan through to Bu Shaghara, while Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road experienced significant delays through the Industrial Area, University City and the approach to SAIF Zone.
Additional congestion was reported around Muhaisnah and Industrial Area 6. Meanwhile, a section of S112 near University City was closed to traffic, leading to growing queues as motorists diverted to alternative routes.
Commuters heading towards Dubai South or Sharjah may want to allow extra travel time or consider alternative routes where possible.
