Sheikh Hamdan visits Bahrain to attend GCC joint military exercises

The drills are designed to enhance GCC military cooperation, coordination and preparedness, while promoting the exchange of expertise and evaluating operational readiness.

Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, during his visit to the Kingdom. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The drills, which commenced on Tuesday, are aimed at enhancing military cooperation among GCC member states, improving coordination, facilitating the exchange of expertise, and evaluating operational readiness, according to the Bahrain Defence Force.
