Walk-in facility available on July 25 for urgent NRI certificate applications.
The Consulate General of India in Dubai has introduced emergency NRI certificate services to support students facing upcoming college admission deadlines in India.
The consulate announced that a limited walk-in facility will operate on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 8:30am to 12pm at its Dubai premises to assist with urgent applications.
Who can apply
The emergency service is available only to applicants whose document submission deadline is on or before July 31, 2026.
Applicants must submit the completed NRI certificate application form, along with all supporting documents mentioned in the form and a valid employment certificate.
Applicants advised to arrive early
The consulate has advised applicants to enter through Gate No. 1 and arrive early, as applications will be accepted and processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The consulate clarified that applications submitted after 12pm will not be accepted.
Consulate to monitor situation
The Consulate General of India in Dubai said it will continue to assess the situation and issue further updates if any additional support or changes to the service become necessary.
