Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has renewed its warning against helping individuals who violate residency and labour laws, reminding the public that those found guilty could face penalties including up to six months in prison and fines of as much as SR100,000.

The ministry said anyone found transporting, employing, sheltering or otherwise assisting individuals who breach the Kingdom’s residency or labour regulations could face legal action. Expatriates convicted of such offences may also be deported from Saudi Arabia.

The latest reminder is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen compliance with residency, labour and border security regulations while raising awareness of the legal consequences of assisting violators.

The ministry called on citizens and residents to support authorities by reporting suspected violations, highlighting the role of public cooperation in maintaining security and upholding the law.

Suspected violations can be reported by calling 911 in Mecca, Medina, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions of Saudi Arabia.
