UAE faces soaring temperatures of up to 43°C, along with intensifying winds.

Date:

The country is expected to experience fair to partly cloudy skies, with winds picking up at times and causing occasional dust.

The UAE is set to see generally fair to partly cloudy weather in the coming days, with light to moderate winds that may occasionally strengthen and stir up blowing dust, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

In its latest bulletin, the authority said conditions on Thursday will remain stable due to a weak surface pressure system coupled with an upper-level high-pressure extension. Temperatures are expected to climb to around 43°C in inland areas and about 39°C along the coast.

Winds are expected to range from 10 to 25 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 40 km/h, shifting from north-easterly to north-westerly directions, while seas will be slight to moderate.

From Friday to Monday, the weather is expected to remain largely fair, with occasional cloud cover and similar wind conditions. Winds may pick up at times, especially on Sunday and Monday, when sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea could turn rough at times.

Humidity is likely to stay relatively high in coastal areas, particularly during the night and early morning, while inland regions will experience hotter and drier conditions.

Forecasters said the stable conditions are in line with typical early summer patterns, marked by gradual warming and increasing wind activity across the country.
