French football star Paul Pogba has partnered with Saudi camel racing team Al Haboob.

Dubai: Paul Pogba’s Al Haboob continued its strong debut-season rise at the His Highness the Amir Sword’s Arabian Camel Racing Festival, securing two top-10 finishes, including a standout result that led to a royal acquisition.
The world’s first professional camel racing team reinforced its ambition to compete at the highest level as Ghanayem, a recent addition to the stable, finished 10th among 85 competitors — a performance that prompted an immediate post-race purchase by the Ruler of Qatar.
Meanwhile, Hajma claimed third place in one of the festival’s major races, building on her runner-up finish at His Majesty the Sultan’s Camel Racing Cup Festival 2026 in Oman earlier this month.
Speaking about the team’s debut-season progress, Al Haboob ambassador and shareholder Paul Pogba said: “I’m really happy with how the team is progressing. It’s a big statement from us.
The results on the racetrack speak for themselves, but it’s the work behind the scenes that is really driving that success.”
“There’s a strong vision here, and that’s exactly why I got involved. I’m excited about what lies ahead.”

Next, Al Haboob will compete in the season finale, the Abu Dhabi Finals for Camel Racing on May 7, aiming to finish its strong maiden season on a high, with Hajma and Mamlaka both set to take part.
In late 2025, Paul Pogba joined Al Haboob as both a shareholder and global ambassador.
The World Cup winner’s partnership with Al Haboob is one of the more unusual crossovers in modern sport, but it also represents a strategic move that combines investment, cultural storytelling, and global sports branding.
In an interview with Arab News, Paul Pogba spoke about his decision to partner with Al Haboob.
“I look for unique, exciting opportunities that challenge me and allow me to grow,” said the Monaco midfielder.
“Al Haboob represents exactly that — something fresh, something meaningful, and something exciting, while staying true to who I am.”
