Primark is set to open its third Dubai store at Mall of the Emirates, with expansions into Bahrain and Qatar planned later this year.

Kuwait: Primark, the international fashion retailer known for its affordable fashion and everyday essentials, has officially opened its second Dubai store at City Centre Mirdif in partnership with Alshaya Group. The launch comes just two weeks after the brand’s highly anticipated UAE debut at Dubai Mall, underscoring its continued expansion in the region.
The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Ghansham “G” Pindoria, Vice President of Primark Middle East, alongside Andre Melo, Managing Director of UAE Majid Al Futtaim Malls, Huda Almazmi, Associate Director of City Centre Mirdif, and Mohammed Feras Arayqat, VP of Retail Calendar and Promotions at Dubai Festival Retail Establishment, celebrating Primark’s growing footprint in Dubai.
The new City Centre Mirdif store spans more than 35,000 square feet across a single sales floor and will employ over 300 staff. Located in one of Dubai’s well-established, family-oriented neighborhoods, the outlet offers a modern retail environment, bringing Primark’s distinctive value-driven offering to a wider customer base.
Shoppers can browse the brand’s full range of fashion, beauty, and homeware in a spacious setting that reflects its global store experience—while maintaining the affordable pricing it is known for. The store also features exclusive collaborations with globally recognized brands such as Disney, NBA, and NFL, along with its more premium line, The Edit, available across menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, and home collections.
Jose Luis Martinez De Larramendi, Director of International Expansion at Primark, said: “We are pleased to open our second store in Dubai at City Centre Mirdif, just two weeks after launching at Dubai Mall. The response from customers has been very encouraging, highlighting strong demand for Primark’s offering in the UAE. Expanding into Mirdif enables us to reach a broader customer base across the city and, in partnership with Alshaya Group, represents another key milestone in strengthening our presence in Dubai and the wider region.”
Ghansham “G” Pindoria, Vice President of Primark Middle East, added: “The opening at City Centre Mirdif marks an important step forward for Primark in the UAE. Following the strong reception to our debut in Dubai, this new store allows us to engage with even more customers, bringing our combination of fashion, style, and affordability closer to residents in Mirdif and surrounding communities. We remain committed to delivering an engaging in-store experience while staying true to our promise of making great fashion accessible to all.”
Primark’s expansion in Dubai is set to continue with the upcoming opening of its third store at Mall of the Emirates this spring.
Through 2026, Primark and Alshaya Group also plan to grow the brand’s presence across the Middle East, including new entries into Bahrain (City Centre Bahrain) and Qatar (Doha Festival City), expanding Primark’s global footprint to 21 markets worldwide.
