ABU DHABI: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan attended Easter celebrations at St Anthony Cathedral in Abu Dhabi, alongside Essam Ashour, members of the Egyptian community, and various diplomatic and social figures.

His presence underscored the UAE’s commitment to celebrating religious diversity and fostering coexistence, tolerance, and mutual understanding among different communities.

In his remarks, Sheikh Nahyan expressed joy at joining the Easter celebrations, describing the occasion as one that symbolizes spiritual purity, happiness, and faith. He extended his best wishes for the holiday, hoping it would continue to inspire harmony and love among people.

He noted that such gatherings in Abu Dhabi reflect the UAE’s ongoing efforts to promote coexistence, dialogue, and human fraternity, uniting people of different nationalities and religions in a spirit of cohesion that supports the country’s vision.

Sheikh Nahyan also expressed confidence that prayers offered during the celebration would include wishes for the UAE’s continued safety, stability, and prosperity under its leadership.

Highlighting the strong ties between the UAE and Egypt, he praised the contributions of the Egyptian community and extended greetings to the Egyptian people and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
