Applications are open until April 30, offering flexible programmes developed with an international curriculum.

Dubai: Educators in the UAE seeking to advance their careers can now apply for Sharjah Education Academy’s (SEA) fall 2026 intake, with admissions open from March 30 to April 30.
The academy offers a range of academic and professional programmes designed to enhance teachers’ roles within the education sector.
Accredited Programmes
For the upcoming semester, SEA will offer eight academic programmes, all accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation under the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Additionally, three specialised professional development certification programmes in early childhood education have been accredited by the National Qualifications Center.
All programmes are offered in both Arabic and English, making them accessible to a broad range of educators across the UAE.
Practical Teaching Skills
A highlight of SEA’s offerings is the postgraduate diploma in education, developed in collaboration with the University of Helsinki in Finland.
The programme aims to strengthen teachers’ scientific thinking, creativity, and application of research-based methods in the classroom.
The academy also offers a postgraduate diploma in educational leadership, developed with the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto in Canada.
The programme is designed for current and aspiring school leaders, focusing on guiding educational improvement initiatives and implementing effective development strategies.
Master’s Degrees
In addition, SEA offers four master’s programmes in teacher leadership and educational leadership, available in both Arabic and English. These programmes build on the postgraduate diplomas and are designed to further deepen educators’ expertise.
The teacher leadership track focuses on enhancing instructional practice while preparing educators for broader roles within schools.
In contrast, the educational leadership track equips teachers to lead large-scale improvements and apply advanced research to boost overall institutional performance.

Early Childhood Education
As part of its commitment to early childhood education, SEA offers specialised programmes tailored for leaders, teachers, and teaching assistants.
Developed in partnership with the University of Helsinki, these programmes are grounded in the latest global research, equipping educators with the skills to create engaging and supportive learning environments for young children during their formative years.
Flexible Study Options
All programmes follow a flexible learning model, combining in-person classes, online learning, self-paced study, and practical application in real educational settings.
“This model allows participants to balance their professional commitments with academic development while staying aligned with the latest global trends in teacher preparation and educational leadership,” SEA said in a statement.
Educators are encouraged to take advantage of these programmes to enhance their qualifications and contribute to the UAE’s evolving education landscape.
