Standing with the Gulf: Egypt condemns terrorism.
Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned terrorist and sabotage plots aimed at undermining the security and stability of Gulf states, most recently targeting the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Authorities in both countries successfully thwarted these threats and dismantled the networks responsible.
In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and all Gulf states, pledging support in countering any attempts to undermine their sovereignty, threaten security, or intimidate citizens and residents.
The statement highlighted Egypt’s full backing of all measures—security, legal, and procedural—taken by the authorities in the UAE, Kuwait, and other Gulf states to protect their people, safeguard resources, and maintain internal stability.
It also reaffirmed Egypt’s strong rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism, as well as any attempts to destabilise countries in the region.
