Eid Al-Fitr lights up Dubai with lively celebrations at the city’s iconic landmarks.

Dubai: Dubai’s world-class attractions, entertainment venues, and shopping centres experienced a surge of activity on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

A wide range of events and seasonal promotions attracted both residents and visitors to the heart of the city’s festive celebrations.

Major landmarks, including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and City Walk, saw significant footfall from the early hours.

Public parks and outdoor spaces also welcomed large crowds, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The pleasant weather drew families to public parks and outdoor spaces, while restaurants and cafés across the emirate buzzed with activity.

Leading malls across the city have introduced integrated experiences blending retail, leisure, and hospitality, strengthening Dubai’s reputation as a top destination for festive tourism.

During a field visit by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), visitors at the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall shared their enjoyment of the city’s diverse offerings, with many traveling from outside the emirate specifically for the holiday.

Across Dubai, a rich programme of cultural and family-oriented activities is currently underway.

The ‘Eid in Dubai’ celebrations mark the grand finale of the Season of Wulfa, which began with Hag Al Leila and continued throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.

A broad network of cultural venues and government bodies is hosting heritage-themed events and live performances, creating a memorable celebration for the whole community.
