Dubai mosques to recite Dua Al Qunoot during daily prayers.

Dubai: Starting Wednesday, Dubai mosques will recite Dua Al Qunoot during Fajr and Maghrib prayers, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) announced, citing the Prophetic tradition of invoking the supplication during times of hardship.

The department stated that the initiative is part of its broader efforts to organise mosque activities and revive religious practices traditionally observed in exceptional circumstances.

It also urged community members to participate in the practice through prayer and supplication, seeking God’s blessings for the UAE’s safety, security, and stability, and asking for rewards upon the nation’s leadership.

Dua Al Qunoot is a renowned supplication in Islamic prayers, where worshippers seek God’s guidance, protection, and mercy. It is a traditional part of Islamic worship and is recited collectively in mosques on specific occasions.
