Light showers and humid mornings forecast for coastal areas of the UAE.

ABU DHABI: National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast unstable weather conditions across the United Arab Emirates from Monday (March 16) until Friday (March 20), with skies ranging from clear to partly cloudy and chances of light rainfall over some areas. The period may also see fluctuations in temperatures and increased wind activity on certain days.
The centre said in a statement that Monday’s weather will be humid in the morning over some coastal areas, becoming fair to partly cloudy later in the day, with a rise in temperatures.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 10 to 20 km/h and reaching up to 30 km/h at times.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.
The National Centre of Meteorology added that Tuesday (March 17) will see fair to partly cloudy conditions across the United Arab Emirates, becoming cloudy at times during the night, particularly over coastal areas, islands and some northern regions. There is also a chance of light rain, along with a noticeable drop in temperatures in the western parts of the country.
Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, moderate to fresh and occasionally strong, causing blowing dust and sand during the day. Wind speeds are expected to range from 15 to 30 km/h, reaching up to 45 km/h at times.
The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to slight in the Sea of Oman.
On Wednesday, the National Centre of Meteorology expects partly cloudy to cloudy conditions at times across the United Arab Emirates, with a chance of continued light rainfall during the daytime over some western and coastal areas as well as islands. Temperatures are also expected to drop further.
Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate in speed and freshening at times, causing blowing dust. Wind speeds will range from 15 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h.
The sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.
On Thursday, the National Centre of Meteorology forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies at times, with a chance of light rainfall over some western and coastal areas and islands.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed and freshening at times, ranging from 10 to 25 km/h and reaching up to 35 km/h.
The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.
On Friday, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a chance of rainfall over scattered areas.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed and occasionally freshening, ranging from 15 to 25 km/h and reaching up to 40 km/h.
The sea will be moderate, occasionally rough in the Arabian Gulf, and slight in the Sea of Oman.
